Biography
D. Vaithiyanathan is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Delhi, India. Previously, he served as a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, Chennai, from December 2010 to August 2017. He received the B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Madras, the M.E. degree in Applied Electronics from the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, and the PhD degree from the College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, Chennai. His research interests include low-power VLSI circuit design, memory design, embedded systems, VLSI architectures for digital signal and image processing, and image cryptography. He has authored or co-authored 91 journal articles, 176 conference papers, 15 book chapters, and three books. He also holds one granted patent and has presented one poster at an international conference. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a Fellow of IETE.
