Biography
Zainab W. Sarhan is a Master's student at the Electrical Engineering Technical College, Middle Technical University (MTU), Baghdad, Iraq. Her research focuses on medical image processing, specifically CT-based segmentation and volumetric reconstruction of lung tumors using classical, training-free algorithms such as the Fast Marching Method. Her work aims to provide interpretable, low-cost alternatives to deep-learning-based diagnostic tools for resource-limited clinical and academic settings.
