Biography
Prof. Adel Najar received his PhD in Physics and Habilitation at Rennes 1 University in France in 2007 and 2019, respectively. Also, he received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin-Germany in 2016. Prof. Najar held several research positions in the past mainly in Grenoble Institute of Technology in France, Leti-Commissariat of Atomic Energy (CEA) in France, KAUST in KSA, and Basic Research Labs-NTT Corp. in Japan. Currently, Prof. Najar’s research interests include the development of semiconductor materials for photonic applications, semiconductor nanostructures for gas sensors and LEDs, and perovskite materials for solar cells and photodetectors. He has served as a Guest Editor for several scientific journals and has authored numerous papers published in leading journals, including Advanced Materials, Advanced Science, Advanced Functional Materials, Advanced Energy Materials, and Progress in Materials Science, among others.
