Biography
I completed my PhD from USIM, Malaysia, and MSc. in Computer System Engineering from Halmstad University, Sweden. I am a Cisco, Microsoft, Linux, and project management certified instructor. I am a qualified "Chartered Engineer”, registered with the Engineering Council, UK. I obtained two Australian IP patents in the IoT and security fields.
I am passionate about technology, managing IT projects, operations, and developments. I have 17 years of working experience in computer science, security, networks, products, leadership, operations and management fields. I have served as a Cisco ITC/ASC Netacad Academy manager for the Norwegian market. I was responsible for teaching and building relationships with other institutions/schools to expand the Noroff Cisco Academics network. I have managed networking labs within four campuses. I have gained knowledge and experience in the Windows Server, Cloud, Linux, Security, and Computer Networks fields. As a lab coordinator, I managed budgets and resources (equipment).
I have managed software projects while working with Eunoia IT Solutions as a project manager and consultant. I managed project plans, scope, requirements analysis, resources, budget, risk management, timelines, and managing communication between the clients, development teams, and stakeholders throughout the software development life cycle. I had worked as a field and support engineer with AVASO Technology Solutions. As a field engineer, I have worked on-site to configure and maintain network infrastructure, including Cisco routers and switches. I have designed solutions related to Microsoft Azure Cloud, VMware, Team and 365 products. I have obtained Microsoft Cloud, CRM, ERP, Security, Cisco CyberOps, Project Management, and ITIL certifications. I have broad knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, COBIT, ISO 27000, and COSO.
