Biography
Dr. Mst. Najnin Sultana holds a Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from Inha University, South Korea (2021), focusing on Machine Learning algorithms for Link Adaptation in Underwater Acoustic Networks (UACN). She earned her M.S. and B.Sc. (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Dhaka, ranking 10th out of 25 and 3rd out of 38, respectively.
During her doctoral studies, she worked as a Research Assistant at Inha University's UWB-ITRC and MTRL laboratories. She has authored around 13 international publications, including peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers, two book chapters and has supervised numerous undergraduate and graduate students in thesis and research work.
Her academic excellence has been recognized through the Bangladesh Government Talent-pool and General Grade Scholarships at the SSC, HSC, and B.Sc. (Hons) levels, along with scholarship support from Inha University and the prestigious JungSeok Memorial Scholarship during her Ph.D.
Her research interests include Machine Learning, Blockchain, Robotics, Image Processing, Underwater Acoustic Networks, Wireless Communication, and Data Analytics — reflecting her interdisciplinary shift from Electrical Engineering into advanced communication systems and data-driven research. She is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Data Analytics to further strengthen these skills.
