Mohd Soperi received Ph.D degree in Computer Science from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in 2009. He obtained an M.Sc degree in 1998 and B Sc degree in 1989 from Rochester Institute of Technology and New Mexico State University respectively. Currently, he is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Computing, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Prior to joining UTM, he has spent several years working as Analyst/Programmer.
His research interests include Internet Routing Protocol, Opportunistic Networks, Cellular Network Data Offloading, and Pervasive Healthcare Technologies. Dr Soperi’s Phd dissertation work was selected to be presented in Doctoral Research Showcase session of ACM/IEEE International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage and Analysis (SC08). His research works have been published in various international journals such as IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials and Journal of Network and Computer Applications, Elsevier.
